Chancen is a financial inclusion NGO closing the $40 billion annual education financing gap in Africa. We enable underserved youth, especially women, rural and low-income, to access quality higher education and training aligned with the jobs of the future.
Our mission
To accelerate inclusive economic growth for African youth through ethical education finance that can increase their lifetime earnings by 5x. By 2029, we aim to support 60,000 young people.

A win-win-win model.
Unlike a traditional loan, which places all the risk on the young person, our model is a win-win-win: no-risk education support for students with affordable, income-linked repayments, increased revenue for education partners and long-term returns for investors. We succeed only when our Members do — when they graduate, find work, and grow their income — and every product we build is designed to protect them.
