"Chancen didn't just fund my studies — they supported my whole life. Today, I'm an engineer."
Elyse Uwihirwe
Land Survey Engineer
As the second of eight children, Elyse faced the challenge of becoming a single mother while still in high school. After finishing secondary school in 2015, she enrolled in short courses but had to drop out due to financial constraints. Her dream of university seemed out of reach until she discovered Chancen International. Through the Income Share Agreement (ISA), she joined INES, becoming part of its first-ever graduating cohort.
“I am really thankful and grateful to Chancen, now my life has changed. I can afford anything by myself, without asking anyone or begging. Actually, I am living my best life,” Elyse shares.
Today Elyse is working as a Land Survey Engineer at NPD Construction Company and is sharing her journey to inspire others, proving that with determination and the right support, even the toughest obstacles can be overcome.
