He served as Senior Director of Delivery and Operations at Sama, leading 1,500+ staff, and Operations Director at Spark Microgrants. He also held roles at Andela, the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, and Kenya Airways.
Peter Karanja is an operations executive with 15 years of experience in financial services, technology, international development, and AI data services across Africa and beyond. Throughout his career, he has run complex multi-country operations, managed a $15M+ portfolio, and led a workforce of 1,500+. As Group Chief Operating Officer of Chancen International, Peter oversees operational excellence, organisational development, and strategic implementation across the group. He holds a BSc in Information Technology and is also a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
