Richard K. Rutuku

Richard K. Rutuku is a seasoned governance and risk professional with more than two decades of experience strengthening accountability, financial stewardship, and institutional effectiveness across Rwanda’s public, private, and development sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Internal Auditors Rwanda, he champions high standards of governance, internal control, and risk management. His career has included senior leadership positions overseeing finance, corporate services, strategy, and organizational performance, as well as board and audit committee appointments within national institutions. Richard brings extensive expertise in governance frameworks, compliance, business continuity, and strategic oversight, supporting Chancen Africa HoldCo’s commitment to strong governance and institutional sustainability.
