Batya Blankers

Batya Blankers is the Founder and CEO of Chancen International, where she has scaled innovative education-financing solutions for young people across Africa. Over the past eight years she has grown the organisation across four countries and secured more than $30 million for learners, forging partnerships with governments, investors, financial institutions and education providers. As CEO, she now provides strategic leadership across the group and its subsidiaries, focusing on organizational growth, ecosystem building and impact.

She is also Co-Chair of the Global ISA Alliance, a coalition setting global standards for transparency, learner protection and equity, and serves on the board of another innovative education financing provider, Malengo.

Having financed her own undergraduate studies in Germany through an Income Share Agreement, Batya built her early management experience at Chancen eG and Euphoria Telecom before founding Chancen International and holds an MBA from the African Leadership University School of Business.
