Maurice Nduranu

Maurice Nduranu has twenty plus years of work experience, over ten of which have been at senior management/leadership level in several world-class organizations. He has worked for one of the top public infrastructure consulting firms in the U.S. west, DPFG, one of the larger African investment bank/asset management firms, African Alliance, and the pioneer global impact investment fund, Acumen. He has led experienced multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams in various sectors & geographies from structuring public infrastructure financing to managing public pension & deposit protection assets. He has also overseen and managed investments into businesses in the region ranging from agri-business to financial services and from manufacturing to retail. Maurice is a member of the Institute of Directors, Kenya and board chairman of CPF Financial Services Ltd, a Kenyan public pension administrator.

Felicitas Chiganze

Felicitas Chiganze recently retired as Chief Operating Officer of the SRHR Africa Trust (SAT). She has a background in gender and development with extensive knowledge of civil society governance in southern Africa. Prior to joining SRHR Africa Trust (formerly known as the Southern African AIDS Trust) in 1993, she was a Development Officer with the Canadian International Development Aid and also served as the Under Secretary for Legal and Equal Opportunities in the Ministry of Community Development and Women’s Affairs in her native Zimbabwe . She is passionate about working with community based organisations. Since 1993, Flanny engaged with over 350 community organizations in east and southern Africa that partnered with SAT in addressing HIV and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights issues.

Patrick is a senior economist and Director of Research at National Bank of Rwanda, where he coordinates various macroeconomic research, modeling and forecasting activities. Prior to joining the central bank, he was a research analyst at Laterite Ltd, an international research firm based in Kigali. He also worked as an assistant lecturer at the University of Rwanda. Patrick’s current research interests center around monetary policy analysis. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal

Throughout his career, he has stewarded his finance and risk management experience to serve on numerous charity and for-profit boards, including BlackRock and Opportunity International. After retiring from BoA, Mark co-founded MyNextSeason to assist senior-level executives in career transitions.

Peter Hinton is an Associate Fellow at the Said School of Business, University of Oxford with a research focus on impact investing and financing low-cost education in Africa. Peter has over 25 years of commercial experience in the UK and founded and led Summit Development Group (UK) and Enterprise Banking Group (Botswana). Prior to these he headed strategy and development at BancABC (Botswana) and worked for CDC (UK), Africa Trading (S Africa), BhS plc and Mazars. He is a trustee of Send A Cow that operates in 6 African countries to improve rural livelihoods through environmentally, sustainable methodology and Hugh Pilkington Charitable Trust, an endowment that supports refugee education in the horn of Africa. He is a director of Bean there Coffee Company (S Africa) and co-author of Someone to Watch Over Me- the essential guide to godparenting.

Dominic

Dominic is the Global Managing Director for TTRO Group. The successful exit of Think IT Solutions to  the largest Technology group EOH in 2010 saw Dominic take on the role of CTO for EOH who’s services covered  Business Process Outsourcing, Enterprise Applications and ICT and Industrial Technologies. From 2010 to the end  of 2015, Dominic led multiple business units, headlined the groups’ Cloud services strategy and redesigned its  market strategy for digital and technology solutions for ICT Technology Solutions.Dominic has worked extensively in Africa and the Middle East.  He has led the technology team delivering the DBE  Cloud – South Africa’s National Technology Platform for non-fee paying public schools, and has been the executive sponsor and technology advisor to Imfundo Education Technologies – a technology platform that uses technology  to actively engage parents in their child’s education. Dominic is a  member of YPO and on a mission to change lives using EdTech as the vehicle.

Sneha is the MD & Group Head at LSEG Business Accelerator. She is responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling new high-growth, impactful businesses for LSEG in the financial services sector.  She has been actively involved in industry associations, including the Board of the US Chamber of Commerce US-Africa Business Center, YPO, 30% Southern Africa and One Young World (OYW) Africa. Sneha has also contributed to several initiatives of the UN, World Economic Forum, and the Global Agenda Council on Governance (2014 to 2016).
